Strengthening Integrity and Transparency in the Service of Peace
On September 5, 2025, the AL-BARKA Organization for Socio-Economic Development organized, at the Tente d’Abraham Center, a workshop for the review and validation of its Code of Conduct.
The objectives of the workshop focused on:
• Raising awareness among staff and suppliers about ethical and professional requirements
• Promoting respect for human rights and humanitarian standards
• Clarifying mutual commitments for responsible collaboration
The discussions helped strengthen the understanding of everyone’s obligations and reaffirmed our commitment to combating all forms of corruption, and to promoting a safe, fair, and respectful working environment.
Key recommendations:
• Regular refresher sessions and updates of the Code of Conduct
• Monitoring and evaluation of its implementation
• Strengthening dialogue with partners
Together, we are building a strong movement for peace in the Sahel, founded on integrity, transparency, and mutual respect.
